Happy Out.

That's an Irish expression, "happy out". Just means you are out and about, basically enjoying yourself. And that's what's been happening here. We've been happy out.

Happy out at the Titanic Museum in Belfast, yesterday, educating ourselves about all manner of things we didn't know surrounding the construction of the Titanic itself, and the great catastrophe of April 14, 1912 that sunk her.

We stood by the dry dock, where this legendary ship was built from scratch by Belfast shipbuilders, Harland & Wolff, and fitted out before sailing to Southhampton, England to begin her maiden voyage from there. We viewed replica first and second-class cabins, the dining chairs and chinaware used on board, and even a recrafted lifeboat, of which were so few on the Titanic itself.

Today we were happy out cruising the Antrim Coast. First at Carrick-A-Rede Rope Bridge, and then on to the Giants Causeway. Lots of walking and stinky sea-air - what is that, rotten seaweed? - but plenty of sunshine, so we all look a little sun-kissed tonight.
